Zilingo Nwuke
Hello, my name is Zilingo Nwuke. I go by Zee for short. I’m currently 29 years old with years left to go. My father is from Nigeria and my mother is from South Carolina. They met each other here in Denver, Colorado a little over 30 years ago, fell in love and I was born. I am a born and raised Colorado native.
I am a second-degree black belt going on third and an instructor with the Korean Academy of Taekwondo. I’ve been teaching for about three years now. As an athlete, I am currently the sixth-ranked middleweight in the nation, a state champion, a state team member and an All-American for this past year. I have been very committed to Taekwondo for the last eight or nine years. I have a lot of experience competing. I have competed and been successful in many tournaments. I have competed in tournaments across the nation and competed against opponents in other countries. I am also experienced in teaching. My classes include Taekwondo, boxing, muay thai, grappling and basic self-defense.
Kids have really seemed to like my classes. The classes are lots of fun, but the kids will also learn a lot at the same time.
Taekwondo is something I really love and enjoy. I love to teach and I love to compete. I really have a passion for it. I hope to continue doing this for some time and reach new heights. Taekwondo is my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
